Individual Therapy

Individual therapy or counselling is a process in which you work one-on-one with your therapist; in a safe, caring, and confidential environment.We can explore feelings, beliefs, emotions, or behaviours.

Individual therapy is about helping you heal from negative things that you have experienced in your everyday life, such as losses, separation and divorce, family conflict, violence, trauma, or abuse. Additionally, Individual Counselling is aimed at helping you to cope with addictions, mental health issues, and with stresses that can cause anxiety and depression.

So why would you come to see us?

If you feel depressed (perhaps there are days that you would just like to pull the covers over your head and stay in bed), it may help you to know that you are not alone and to talk to someone professional about what is going on for you. 

We can help you explore and change the ingrained patterns that keep you stuck, help you regain some joy in your life and provide a listening ear in a supportive and non-judgemental environment, for those times or those topics that you can’t talk to family or friends about, because they just wouldn’t understand. Having another to confide in can sometimes be all that you need to find peace of mind.
